Narrative

Patrolman Sube died after contracting tetanus as a result of a wound received while on patrol.

He was checking on a building on 4th Street, proceeding down a staircase, when the staircase collapsed. As a result of the fall, Patrolman Sube received a large splinter in his hand. 

The wound caused him to contract tetanus, from which he died five (5) days later.

Patrolman Sube had served with the department for one (1) year.
