Narrative

Patrolman Croxton was shot and killed by a man he arrested in a raid the night before. The suspect confronted Patrolman Croxton at 18th Avenue and Portland Avenue. A heated argument ensued and the suspect pulled a pistol and killed Patrolman Croxton.

Patrolman Croxton had been with the agency for only seven (7) months. He is survived by his wife, two (2) sons, his parents, three (3) brothers, and three (3) sisters.
