Youth Police Advisory Council

The LMPD is seeking high-school students (14 to 18 years of age) to serve on the Youth Police Advisory Council. The YPAC convenes with Chief Conrad every other month for one (1) year to discuss public safety issues facing Louisville. Applicants should be able to converse in a group setting, demonstrate maturity and be willing to make respectful recommendations. The meetings include dinner and are held between 6 to 8 p.m. at the Louisville Metro Police Training Academy.

The LMPD staff will submit letters of recommendation and volunteer hours for participants.
